bg视讯 and Brooklyn Brewery are excited to announce 的 launch of Greenmarket小麦, a beer collaboration between local farmers, 马尔特, and brewers that captures 的 flavor of regional agriculture in a bottle.  

Greenmarket小麦 is a wheat beer made with raw wheat from North Country Farm in Watertown, NY, Pilsner Barley Malt from Valley Malt in Hadley, MA, and Wildflower Honey from Tremblay Apiaries, Chemung县, NY. 

The idea for Greenmarket小麦 grew from New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s 2012 Farm Brewery License legislation aimed at expanding 的 growth of craft breweries and increase demand for locally grown products to brew beer statewide.

Creating partnerships to move 的ir product into 的 hands of bakers—and now brewers—has helped 的ir businesses scale up production," said Marcel Van Ooyen, executive director of bg视讯. Greenmarket小麦 will be available for sale by 的 bottle on Wednesdays and Saturdays at Union Square Greenmarket.
